national stationery show

What could be a more appropriate first blog, than to talk about the coveted New York Stationery Show?

This year, 4 of us from the store made the trek to NY in search of a great paper treasure hunt. Of course we needed to head out a day early for some much needed play time! Shopping, eating and a show ...

Sunday morning we arrived at the show ready to take on all the Javitz had to offer. And offer it did! My senses seem to come alive amongst all the creativity. I have 3 take-aways: marine life, farm life and calendars ... oh yeah, and letterpress. In fact, one of my favorite all time cards is below from Blue Barnhouse {click here to shop bwp's selection}:

I loved seeing some of the new things created by our favorite designers ... Snow & Graham; Night Owl Paper Goods; Elum; Delphine; Peculiar Pair Press; OrangeBeautiful; Linda & Harriet just to name a few!

And of course it's always exciting to find new favorite designers ... Sweetbeets; Millimeter/Milligram; Pink Loves Brown; SuzyJack*; Ink + Wit; Tiselle; Tenth and Grant; Enormous Champion and the list goes on and on and on and on and on ...

We get giddy with excitement when our show purchases start rolling in! I'll be sure to keep you posted as we start adding the new goodies to our shop!

Hi Tracie,
What a great blog! I was at the NSS too! I must have missed you...which is pretty easy to do there.

Hope all is well,
