fantasy house :: 2012

This year we helped decorate the American Cancer Society 2012 Christmas Fantasy House. This is our third year participating and the twentieth anniversary of the Christmas Fantasy House. You can view our beautiful decorated candy fantasy library from our first year here and here you can view our gorgeous outdoor lodge library from our second year.

Every year it is very important for us to make our decorations by hand, display our own merchandise, and decorate with found/re-claimed or USA made items. This year we decided to decorate the entire room with handmade decorations. In total, we used 52 recycled boxes (all from holiday shipments), 48 rolls of wrapping paper, recycled wrapping paper tubes, countless glue gun sticks and double sided tape. We used Waste Not Paper roll wrap in blossom, chartreuse, fuchsia, paper bag, sage, and strawberry.

Over the past twenty years, the American Cancer Society 2012 Christmas Fantasy House has raised more than $2 million dollars and has raised cancer awareness across the metro Milwaukee area. We are so proud to be connected with such an amazing, local organization. If you missed this year's Fantasy House, don't worry, the handmade paper tree and all of our other paper decorations are now on view right here at Broadway Paper!
