weekend greeting giveaway {sixteen}

This weekend greeting is from 8mm ideas.  I love their quirky, handwritten greetings.

"Our 2nd grade class has a kitty for a mascot.  One weekend Kitty came to my house.  We take turns.  I didn't like all the responsibility."

Do you know someone that doesn't like 'all the responsibility?'  :)

If you'd like to send them this card, just leave me a comment saying who you would send it to and why {by next Friday}. I'll pick my favorite comment and you'll get the card. You can find more rules here.

Last week's winner is Midwest Modern Girl!  Please send me your mailing address and I'll get the card out to next week.  Congrats and thanks everyone for playing!

I would have to keep the card for myself. I am obsessed with cats in hats. I have to admit I have gone as far as crocheting a hat for my cat (you can see in my profile picture that is an orange fez for my ginger kid.) I would love to make that card into a magnet for my fridge so on those days Indiana is too cranky for a hat, I can look at the it and smile.

BTW, did you know Target sells costumes called "Cat Hats." I could not resist picking up the elf hat. It is one of those once in a lifetime X-mas card pic oppurtunities.

I would send this card to my friend, Kim. She and her husband have taken in Zoey, a beautiful 10-yr. old distant relative that had been in an abusive household. Since Kim's children are grown, she's been thrown back into parenthood rather abruptly; this card would bring a long-needed smile to her face and hopefully to her heart!
