worth checking out!

There are a couple new {to me} websites in town that are worth checking out ...

Made By Hand. By ME. is all about handmade items {think Etsy}, featuring some pretty fun treasures.

And then there's White Elephant Vintage, a Canadian shop with all sorts of fun vintage items. I myself am the owner of a new {vintage} camera from their store! After reading about Holle & Jane, I'm convinced I'd have a blast shopping for goodies with them!

I realize I have way missed the boat here, but on the off chance this is the only blog you read, I feel it's my duty to announce the big news!  Better late than never I say ...

Orla Kiely has designed all kinds of fun things for your house, and the best news?  You can get them at Target beginning in February.  Designer products for the everyday folk ... I love it!

decision made!

We are getting very close to being done with our new addition.  {YAY!} ... problem was, I. could. not. decide on a color scheme for my new office.  But I am now happy to say ... decision made!

Last week, I picked out a sofa that will add the key color element {blue}, and then pillows and decor for accent {green & grey, as noted above}.

When I got home I was so excited, that I wanted to relay my color choices to the gals at bwp, so went online to COLOURlovers ... {have you seen this site?!} to whip up a swatch to send my friends at the store.

And then, in honor of my {huge} decision, Emily put together our very own bwp inspiration board.  Thank you Miss Emily!!

I sent this post around work yesterday with one caveat ... prepare to drool!  And drool they did.  These colors and styles are amazing ... and oh so inspiring!

I get all swishy inside when I see a lovely home office ... and aren't these the loveliest? I enjoyed reading this post, because along with the great tid-bits of advice, Holly offers up some great eye-candy!
