While I was in New York for the National Stationery Show, I received an invitation to attend the 7th annual NSS Meetup. The party was held at the Brooklyn Winery and co-hosted by Delphine, Brooklyn Bride, Cat Seto, Oh So Beautiful Paper, Paper + Cup and The Sweetest Occasion (yes, quite the lineup... I know). The party was super fabulous and so much fun.


One of the best things of the whole night was the amazing swag bag that I got. So many goodies from so many great companies! For a better glimpse of the actual party, check out Cyd's blogpost from The Sweetest Occasion.

I'm back from New York and am super excited about everything I have to report! One of the most fun aspects of The National Stationery Show is all of the swag. I love swag. It doesn't make for a pleasant trip home... trying to cram everything into a carry-on bag. But once home, it feels so rewarding + special to have all of these goodies!


Between the books, pencils, totes, coasters... I am in great shape! I love having all of these treats, it's a great reminder of such an amazing show.

I love this month's Linda & Harriett calendar.  It's perfect for October and Halloween.  We've gone crazy in our house this month decorating for Halloween.  My girls love bats, spiders, webs ... pretty much all things creepy crawly and "spoooooky" as the baby says.

I think the Snow & Graham calendar page is pretty cool too!

And I need to take a moment to mention ... did you know that Liz {Linda & Harriett} is training for an Ironman competition?  I am in complete awe of her and look forward to her Monday 'training' posts.  If you have a chance, be sure to drop her a note of encouragement ...

I got to work this morning and remembered, I completely forgot about our lovely Linda & Harriett swag!  This calendar is yummy!!  I have this hanging on my wall above my computer, so it's in my peripheral vision most of the day and that makes me happy.  :)

One of the things I love at the Stationery Show is the swag.  The last couple of years, one of our favs has been a calendar put together by most of our favorite designers.

We visit each participating designers booth, and are handed a delicious calendar page that has us set til next year's show.  I thought it would be fun to start showing each new month ... this month {and June's} is from one of the very first letterpress lines I brought into the store {maybe 5ish years ago!} ... Two Piglets.  I love catching up with Jesse at the show ... and he got bonus points this year for noticing my haircut!  :)
